Hi All

Well I find myself in Canada once again preparing for the conference. The snow is perfect, I have never experienced powder like it. There is something magical about skiing through fields of snow crystals in perfect silence with only ravens and the odd fox for company.I am sure Chamonix will be the same!

Anyway, in a moment of clarity carving through the powder I had an idea. Thursday of the conference will be fancy dress day. Mindful of the fact getting gear out there can be a challenge with the limited baggage allowance I am not going to stipulate anything. The only condition being it has to bring our smile to our faces.

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all enjoyed a good Christmas break? Hopefully by now you have all transferred your funds for the accommodation and Avid are once again solvent. I am still shocked at this years conference sold out within 48 hours! It just goes to show what can be achieved what you bring together such a number of high calibre speakers to deliver what promises to be yet another quality conference and fact finding mission. The Avid event's committee are now working flat out to ensure that this years ITISC awards ceremony is even better than last years spectacular final night. ITISC Piste Again 2012

The second International Travel Insurance Ski Conference 

Following on from the sucess of the 2011 research trip to Les Gets the dedicated group of insurance guru's have once again decided to put their bodies on the line in the name of science. 

Whilst the 2011 was fun, the lack of snow did limit our activities so we are heading off again to a resort guaranteed to provide great snow and great Apre Ski.

Chamonix get the Rosé on ice and lock up your daughters (son's in the case of snowboarders) the second International Travel Insurance Ski Conference is going ahead. Numbers are stricltly limited and avaiable on a first come first saved basis (or whoever passes me the biggest bung).

To ensure the comfort and safety of those attending the number of places for Snowboarders will be strictly limited and subject to an interview process by the committe prio to departure.
